Safely testing the finest wires and tubes
FOERSTER has developed special coils and sensor systems for fine wires and tubes. They reliably test the surface for material defects even on material with the smallest of diameters. this ensures high product quality as required in medical technology, for instance.
Whereas the FD sensor system was designed for the testing of fine wires made from materials such as tungsten and molybdenum, the DEFECTOMINI sensor system is suitable for testing wires and tubes with a material diameter of 0.3 mm to 4 mm. The compact dimensions of the sensor systems make it easy to integrate them in existing production lines.
